today was 10/10!

i went to see the love island q&a with jermaiah brown with a few friends and my little sister. i’m not going to lie, i’ve never watched an episode of love island in my life, but i’ve seen a few short clips to know some of his lore.

the line was so long, it started at the loft by target and stretched to the trove (where i was) and ended up extending even beyond that! while i was inline i had an assignment to finish up, so i sat down and tried finishing up, luckily it only took about 40 minutes to finish up. a little less fortunately, we ended up waiting in that line for another two hours :(

while we were in line, we kept hearing screaming at random times and we thought jermaiah was doing a meet and greet or something. AS IT TURNS OUT, HE WAS RUNNING AROUND SAYING HI TO EVERYONE IN LINE! honestly, that was so funny and so shocking because that’s probably the closest i’ve ever been to some sort of public figure. as we moved up in the line, we were around the area by target when jermaiah came out again and was high-fiving people in line which was again super funny. so basically, i high-fived jermaiah and that means i’m one person away from megan thee stallion.\

q&a was fun, but he said he wasn’t going to talk about any of the people on love island, which was unfortunate because i’m sure that what a lot of people went there for (that’s what i went there for). but it was interesting to know his background, and his book club, which i still need to check out because i want to start reading again. anyways, pretty good day!
